Red Herring (TBC)

When Kit Vincent, a young filmmaker, receives a terminal diagnosis aged 24, his first instinct is to turn on his camera and document those closest to him.

Red Herring captures the absurdity of the things we do to find solace in times of inexplicable tragedy. In this personal and touching documentary about a life cut short, Vincent walks the line between humour and grief to helm this love letter to the relationships that keep us going through the dark stages of life.

"Despite Red Herring’s grim premise, it is never mawkish or self-pitying. In fact, it is often darkly humorous and profoundly moving. You are left thinking about love, and how clearly it still exists, even when we don’t know how best to express it." Tim Jonze, The Guardian

On Tuesday 14th May, we are delighted to welcome director, Kit Vincent and Lawrence Vincent for a post screening Q&A.
