RICARDO CURBELO: RHYTHMS from LATIN AMERICA
Travel to distant lands on a rich and colourful journey with Ricardo Curbelo, through a concert of Latin American culture embracing a variety of countries. The repertoire includes traditional pieces together with Ricardo's own compositions, performed on the harp, cuatro, maracas and vocals.
As a composer and performer, Ricardo is a unique artist. His music work, described as Matiz, is based mainly on his poetry. It embraces different musical influences from around the world, such as Joropo, Flamenco, Jazz, Classical and Progressive. Vibrant and energetic pieces contrast with more classical, captivating melodies and romantic songs.
Ricardo is delighted to perform this concert for the first time at ArtHouse Crouch End.
